Dan Appleton has extensive technology engineering experience across government and industry. Over his 30-year career, Dan has helped integrate complex technology systems for the military, assisted aerospace companies (Northrup and others) modernize their operations, and created new business strategies for systems integrators EDS and AT&T.
Dan Appleton has extensive technology engineering experience across government and industry. Over his 30-year career, Dan has helped integrate complex technology systems for the military, assisted aerospace companies (Northrup and others) modernize their operations, and created new business strategies for systems integrators EDS and AT&T. A member of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government study team examining national information infrastructure for the federal government, Dan has provided executive guidance to the Joint Forces Command, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the US Army, the US Navy, NORAD, and the Department of Defense. Dan’s book, Process Improvement for Department of Defense (DOD) Functional Managers, was adopted as the department standard. A former research fellow at the Center for Technology and National Security Policy at the National Defense University, Dan was honorably discharged from the US Air Force as a First Lt., and served in the CIA.
